LRH Creatives is an independent graphic design company providing the world with design oddities, conceptual magic and visual phenomena out of Central Ohio. Featuring the artwork and design of Lynne R. Holmes, LRH Creatives works with many small businesses in a comfortable, one-on-one environment, specializing in helping companies find their visual identity so they may share it with their market.

At a very young age, our artist exhibited a love for the arts. Even at 3 1/2, it was noted by her mother that she "loves to draw, cut and paste," and received a consistent "O" in her elementary school art classes. She won numerous awards in her high school art class, including a 1994 third place award and a 1995 Judge's Award from the AAA National School Traffic Safety Poster Program, second place in the 1995 Federal Junior Duck Stamp Program Group IV Grades 10-12 bracket, first place in the 1994 Tuscarawas County HIV/AIDS Task Force logo design contest, and numerous other local awards and contests. She went on to attend The Columbus College of Art and Design, where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a major in Advertising and Graphic Design, and designed several winning campaigns for local Columbus businesses.

Upon graduation from CCAD, Lynne began to freelance her abilities to various companies in the Columbus area, including Music Royale in Powell, Big Dog Motorcycles Columbus, Linworth Animal Hospital, the Nursing Institute for Continuing Education and Hungarian Village Society. She served as the art director for the regional Ridin' On Motorcycle Magazine for seven years and desiged the nationally-distributed AIM/NCOM Newsletter for several years.

Recent recognitions include designing a billboard for Big Dog Motorcycles Columbus, which appeared for nearly a year alongside a busy Columbus freeway. She also created an acrylic painting that was displayed on the cover of the December 2010 issue of Ridin' On Motorcycle Magazine, along with a two-page spread article featuring our artist. Even more recently, a promotional poster that our artist designed for Shake-Scene Players' Edinburgh Fringe Festival presentation of Drag King Richard III was recently selected to appear in a printed collection of Shakespeare posters from around the world.

While our artist has worked hard to develop a very diverse range of abilities and skills, she might enjoy painting the most, and revels in its ability to affect multiple senses during creation. She loves the smell, feel and sound of the paint, and the ability to bring a client to tears upon presenting a custom portrait of their pet or child.

As you flip through the pages of the LRH Creatives portfolio, you'll find a wide variety of design examples, which is just a taste of LRH flexibility. Endlessly resourceful, LRH demonstrates the ability to create the most accurate design best suited for the project at hand. Whether that angle be emotional, classy, whimsical or tawdry, LRH Creatives can make it work.
